The Duarte Teen Center was dedicated June 21, 1997.

 

 

On January 26, 2024, The City of Duarte recognized Jim Kirchner for his 35 years of service. Since November 1986 he has served on various City Commissions, the Redevelopment Agency, the City Council, and the Downtown Duarte Task Force. He currently is serving, for over 20 years, on the Duarte Public Works and Traffic Safety Commission.

 

 

The Duarte Senior/Community Center was dedicated on July 9, 1994.
The Center today is very popular with local residents as well as drawing seniors from surrounding cities.

 

 

The Duarte Performing Arts Center was dedicated on December 15, 1990.

 

 

    

The 1909 Duarte Schoolhouse, through many years of transformative uses,
was ultimately preserved and restored by the Old Spaghetti Factory.
The Old Spaghetti Factory sponsored a Grand Opening Gala by invitation
of the Duarte Redevelopment Agency and the Duarte Education Foundation
on March 18, 1993.
100% of the event admission sales went to the Duarte Education Foundation.
